Holiday Projects and Embroidery with Laura Phillips - Anita Goodesign National Educator

September 11th, 9am-noon (AM session) and 1:30-4:30 (PM session)
This special event from Anita Goodesign and Wayside Sewing will help you expand your ideas, offer you knew project ideas, embroidery techniques and inspriation as we ramp up for the 2010 holiday gift making season. Larua brings many years of experience as a national educator, embroidery enthusiast and sewing instructor. Join one of her two sessions on Saturday Septembere 11th at 9apm or 1:30pm and see all that she has to offer.
Register and enter in our drawing for a FREE Anita Goodesign BOXSET, to be raffled off on September 11th. Register before August 15th for a second entry into the raffle.

Door Prizes, Refreshements, Project Ideas and more will be a part of this extravagant Trunk Show full of wonderful satins and silks, Hands-on Demos for you to try some of the new techniques from Laura, and all types of store specials.   Tuition is $15 per person and FREE for all current Embroidery Club Members.

5D Embroidery With Kothy Hafersat  - Husqvarna Viking National Educator

5D  embroidery is the next evolution in embroidery software. Come to learn about it or to update your own software skills. Kothy has so much to offer and so many inspiration ideas for your next project. Register early because seating is limited! Event includees a light lunch and snacks. Tuition: $70


2010 Block of the Month - Bali Beautiful

BOM Detail photo The block of the month (BOM) meets on the second Saturday of the month at 9:15 for 10 months. Each month you'll get some tips and tricks for the next set of blocks and pick up your fabric and pattern for this months piece of the project. If you can't make a Saturday meeting come to the shop any time after the meeting during the month to pick-up your pattern and fabric. SOLD OUT

Scrap Therapy

3rd Saturday at 1pm join us for a full filled club. Bring your scraps your cutting tools and sewing machine and join us as we help squash the stash through this great stash busting program. Everyone is welcome, a new pattern is available every month along with tutorials on new techniques and products.
