Monthly Clubs
Sewing Club & Classes
1st Saturday of the month, 10am-12
Sewing club & classes strives to provide club members and non-members with the opportunity to try new techniques, learn about new tools, and gain confidence in their sewing machine and sewing skills. Most sessions are sit-and-sew, bring your machine and learn a new technique or tool. Some sessions are lectures or demos. Each month will be a new experience. Join the club or sign-up for select classes as they peak your interest.
Embroidery Club
2nd Saturday of the month, 10am-12
Embroidery club is open to all makes and models of home embroidery machines. An assortment of designs are made available each month to work with a variety of machines and hoop sizes. The goal of the club is to get you comfortable with embroidery work through an understanding of embroidery and the software used to create the designs. Each month will include a project and software demonstration, or a lecture. Bring the appropriate transfer medium and device for your machine to all sit-and-sew sessions.
Serger Club
3rd Saturday of the month, 10am-12
Serger club is open to all overlocking machines. Projects will include a range of stitches from 2-thread to 4-thread. Additional coverstitch and 5-thread options will be available on some projects. We hope by getting you to play with your serger you'll find out just how much is possible with these exceptional machines. Come make a project each month, work on new types of fabrics, try different threads and stitch combinations, and just see what is possible on a serger.
